Ski Jumping - The Courage to Fly

Focus. Balance. Flight. A few seconds in the air, a challenge that takes years to master.

Imagine standing at the top of a ski jumping hill, looking down the steep inrun. You gather speed, approach the take-off and launch into the air. For a few breathtaking moments, you are flying above the snow.

Ski jumping brings together precise technique, strong balance and remarkable concentration. Athletes control their body position from the inrun to the take-off, through the flight and into the landing. It is not simply about going far: a controlled, well-executed jump matters too.

Behind every spectacular flight are countless hours of training, small improvements and the courage to try again. That is what makes ski jumping such an inspiring sport.
